On November 19, 2021, the 3,500 m3 self-propelled rake suction dredger “Hangjun 3011” of Shanghai Waterway Bureau, built by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Qidong Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. was successfully berthed at Qidong Ocean Engineering Pier after four days of full-function sea trials.
The vessel is double-engine, double-propeller, compound drive with a steel streamline hull, length 95m, width 21.8m, depth 7.2m, mud chamber capacity 3,500 m3, mud capacity about 5,145 tons; speed 12 knots and dredging depth 30m, and can dredge silt, clay, mud powder sand, medium fine sand, coarse sand, gravel and pebbles. “Hangjun 3011” has the characteristics of shallow draft, high mud loading efficiency and low energy consumption. After delivery, the vessel is used for port channel dredging project.
